Good times. 🌙
It is hard to believe, that 50 years ago today, I had my first cup of coffee. There I was a young lad, in Fremont, Nebraska watching Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the moon.
Good times. 🌙

He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Isaiah 53:3 Jesus was a man of sorrows, but the sorrows were not His own. His sorrow then, as now, is the condition of humanity, the lost, and the suffering. If you think about it, Jesus not only carried His burdens, but ours. In fact, He carried ours to the cross. Jesus knew grief. He wept at the death of Lazarus, (John 11:35). He also wept over the city of Jerusalem(Luke 19:41). I believe that He weeps today; over people that do not know Him, and nations that have turned away from Him. It is funny to think that we can cause the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, pain and sorrow. He does not want one of us to be lost, and condemned to an eternity in hell. Yet, we willingly push Him away as people and nations. He is our Shepherd, our Savior, and our Salvation. As He looks for us among this lost world, we must be humble and willing accept the free gift of Salvation that He bought for us. Even now He is looking for you. What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15: 4-5 Sometimes the devil just pulls up a chair next to you and starts talkin, boy is that fun. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but by the time he's done talking I'm about ready to throw myself off of a bridge.
That old snake will take a form ithat iss pleasing to the eye, and by the time he's done you just want to die. Lucifer will paint a beautiful picture of hopelessness leaving you wondering why you even want to carry on, causing you to lose your faith, and confidence in yourself. He will call into question your faith, and you are walk with the Lord. Which is funny since he hates both you and the Lord, and the walk might be taking. The last thing he'd ever want is for you to be walking the path of the Lord. So he constantly throws shadows of doubt on the road which you are taking, which in turn cause you to doubt if you are on the right road, and doing the right thing for the Lord, or whether you are worthy enough to do the Lord's work. As you battle the doubt demons always keep in mind that the Lord is by your side. You may stumble, fall, or even wander off the road into the woods, but the Lord is always there to help. Do not lose sight of that fact, and never hesitate to say,"Satan get behind me." It can be a scary feeling when you are losing the person you were.
"Surely God is my help, the Lord is the one who sustains me."-Psalm 54:4 May God bless and protect you this Monday morning, actually all day; and believe me I'm asking for a double blessing.
Head down, shoulders to the wind, carry on, and have a great one. But I am poor and sorrowful; Let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.-Psalm 69:29
It doesn't matter what others say about you, or the names that they call you, o rhow messed up your life seems to be; God does love you.
Keep the faith, keep moving forward, He is with you when others have abandoned you. Psalm 23. Ah...life. It's always something, but it'd have to be. After all, if it was always nothing, would you be living?
