Mask and Vax

Madame  Speaker;

I rise today in confusion. We are told to wear masks, social distance, get tested, and be test subjects for an unapproved vaccine. We are told we cannot travel aboard, or even intrastate, for fear of spreading the COVID19 virus.

Yet, as I look to the southern boarder; I see streams of illegal, untested, immigrants from Mexico, and places south crossing freely. These illegals, many unaccompanied children, are crammed into tight spaces with no social distancing. It seems, from video and pictures I have seen, that these holding cells, have no or very limited ventilation.

As if that is not a concern, many of these lawbreakers are set free with cash, a ride, or a plane ticket to interact with American citizens that are still in some stage of lockdown. Granted, common sense in Washington is in short supply, and with this administration, nonexistent, but it would seem, for public safety that those crossing the border should be held, at least to the same draconian standards as American citizens.

This administration has opened the floodgates to criminals, human trafficking, child sex trafficking,
drug cartels, and carriers of the pandemic. The crisis at the border, and the coming health crisis in this country lays squarely at the feet of this Administration and the majority.

Biden and the Dems: Uniting by Dividing

​Madame Speaker,
            President-elect Biden, the Democrats, Hollywood and the remaining groups of the Left, have called for unity. They have implored us to move on from the divisiveness of past four years; to put away petty, partisan politics, and to “Build, Back, Better.” Words. More words, delivered from the Capitol of words.
            This body does not lack for words, for phrases, and countless sentences. If words were money; there would be no debt, and the surplus money would fully fund any, and all, social and
military programs desired from either side of the Isle. It is unfortunate that we have a surplus of words, and a deficit of action.
            Now the action taking place to create unity involves censorship, deplatforming from social media, books not being published, lists of the current administration’s appointees, staff and supporters are being discussed to prevent from working, and calls for “cleansing” Trump
supporters. It will not help unify the country to pursue a vindictive impeachment based on hate.
            It seems the incoming administration has a governing style closer to Adolph Hitler and his Brown Shirts, than Martin Luther King. Until unifying actions match the words; we will remain a divided people, living in the former United States.
            Madame Speaker; having no more words, I yield back what time remains for action.

Death by Apathy

Madame Speaker;

I rise today to bid farewell to the United States of America. No longer a nation of with a pride of it's past and a vision of it's future. Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

Unfortunately, we have surrender our past, our present, our future, and our freedom without a shot being fired, against some great invader.  We lost the battle for our culture by removing God from the public square, and allowing, and normalizing every type deviant behavior and lifestyle. We yielded to the mob; tore down, and rewrote our once great history, and made the United States the embodiment of evil.

Yet, while the picture of the Great Satan was being painted, we allowed unchecked illegal immigration, and became a nation without borders; which in reality, is not a nation at all. We allowed lawlessness to run rampant, unchecked by a weak and unjust court system. A two-tiered justice system did untold damage to the middle and lower classes. 

The rich and big business prospered, as businesses and jobs left our country. Technology, once holding the promise of making life better, replaced the remaining workforce here at home. The attempts to tax the rich failed, as they could afford high priced accountants, or move their money off shore and, as always, the working class carried the burden of the costs of various "free" government programs.  The oligarchy prospered, while the great unwashed struggled under oppressive laws, rules, and mandates.

Our freedoms and liberty died a slow, unnoticed death. Our greatest enemy in the battle for our nation was the apathy of it's people.

We Got The Look

My fellow Americans...
            The problem with our country is that white people don’t like the way black people look at them; black people don’t like the way white people look at them, Hispanics don’t like the way blacks and whites look at them, and vice versa. Women don’t like the way men look at them, men don’t like the way women look at them. Skinny people hate the look of fat people, fat people hate the look of skinny people, and average size people hate the look of both, and both hate the look of them. People don’t like the way gays, lesbians, bisexuals, or transgenders look, and transgenders, etc., don’t like the look of other people as well.

            Basically, we don’t like each other’s look, we don’t like the way we look at each other, or the way other’s look at us and, yet, have a hard time looking away from each other’s look.  My solution if elected president would be to have the government gouge everyone’s eyes out, so we could get all this lookism eliminated, and begin hating each other for the way that we sound.

                                                      The Constitution: Death by Firing Squad (04/11/2015)

​So Utah now has a backup plan for killing death row inmates, joining several other states, in seeing that justice is done. I used to be a proponent for the death penalty, but given my recent experiences on local and federal court, count me out. 
​

After hearing a retired judge and two attorneys tell my friend that, “It’s not about the truth,” and “The truth doesn’t matter,” my already low opinion of the justice system reached rock bottom. There are two justice systems; one for the rich, and one for everyone else. Unfortunately, you get the justice you can afford.

Do I believe that the jails are full of innocent people? No, but given my experience, as a former law enforcement officer and recently in court, there are more than we would want to admit. A nation that was built on laws and protecting the rights of the weak cannot survive for long when justice is not served equally.

Killing someone may make us feel better, but it also lowers our value as human beings. If strapping someone to a chair and shooting them is not a violation of the 8th Amendment, then nothing would be, and we have become the very barbarians we seek to protect ourselves from.

My Fellow Americans...

I read with great interest, "Cigarette Venders Taking a Hit" and "Banks Ordered to Lend." (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review 10/29/08) It is ironic that these two stories should make the front page so close to Election Day. 


The Republicans bombard us with ads telling us how an Obama Administration would expand government to historic levels and our very freedoms are imperiled. The Democrats warn us that a McCain Administration would be four more years of Bush. The Supreme Court would take away our personal liberties and we will have four more years of deficit spending.


Let’s be honest, neither party nor candidate is deserving of our vote. The Republican and Democratic Parties will not bring about change. When the government starts to tell you what you can do in your personal life: no smoking, or a business how it needs to do business: lend the money, we have almost reached the point of no return.


Once again the voter is left with two substandard choices for president. Each election year we are implored by the party establishment to, "hold your nose and vote" or, "vote for the lesser of two evils." That’s a choice? This is what the Founders of our Nation wanted for us? This is why Arlington and other National Cemeteries hold our scared dead?


My friends we must do better. We have an obligation not only to the future, but also to the past. Once this sham election is decided; I would encourage you to look to an alternate party that could challenge the two establishment parties and force them to offer better quality candidates. Why is it that both parties believe in competition, except in the political arena?


Perhaps Marx was wrong. It seems we are hanging ourselves with the rope we have made.

One Minute Speech: Christmas

My Fellow Americans, I yield myself the time I may consume...

Ahh, Christmas, when you’re younger it was a big deal.  There was time off from school, presents, playing with presents, an innocence and hope.  As you got older it becomes a pain in the rear.  The hassle of putting up the tree, decorating the house, buying presents and dealing with the mobs on “Black Friday,” does tend to kill the holiday spirit.  There is no time off from work, visiting obnoxious family members; all innocence and hope are gone.  It is really no longer a big deal.

A birthday is a big deal; a chance to celebrate surviving another year of life, with the hope of living another.  Sure life may suck, but at least you’re alive.  Even as we advance in age a birthday is a chance to relax and celebrate.  Maybe it is because the focus is on us, we don’t have to buy presents or decorate.

Technically, Christmas is when people celebrate Jesus Christ’s birthday.  So what if it may be wrong day and month, it is the thought that counts.  We know that Jesus was given presents that first year because the Bible tells us so.  They were all gifts from strangers, it seems.  Perhaps an atheist would argue that the alleged, “Holy Night” was actually the first documented visitation of Santa Claus.  Of course, that wouldn’t work as I don’t believe that an atheist would support a belief in Santa Claus; something to do with that St. Nick thing.

People get all bent out of shape when it comes to Christ’s birthday.  Some protest to show how good of a Christian they are, at least in public. Funny, most of the “good Christians” only attend church twice a year, unless there is a wedding or a funeral. Of course, the atheists set all this up by whining and complaining about a farm scene on public property.  If they would just shut up and let things be, they might actually win, as no one even notices the manger on public land, until they bring it up making them look like big jerks! In fact, the majority of people are so consumed with shopping you could just call it ‘Mas, for Heaven’s sake, and they wouldn’t notice the difference.

Let’s consider a couple of facts:

-The religious leaders of the time conspired to have Jesus killed.
-The government allowed the crucifixion of Jesus for political reasons.

Now looking at the big picture, do you really think Jesus cares whether or not you go to a church to celebrate His birth?  As for setting up a crèche to celebrate His birthday on government property, are you crazy?  

Remember, as the Christmas season approaches, the 1st Amendment guarantees freedom of religion, not freedom from it. If somebody wants to wish me a “Merry Christmas,” it isn’t meant to offend, in fact, they are being nice. Granted in today’s society that is a foreign concept. If you really want to think about it, so many people worship at the trough of government, that we already have a government religion. The federal, state, and local government has more control and acceptance in our lives than any religion. If anything during this “holiday season,” Joseph and Mary are probably offended that their Son’s birth memorialized on government property and used as a fundraising tool. 

Merry Christmas, and in the words of British comedian, David Allen, “May your God go with you.”

In Memory of John Dingell

My Fellow Americans,

Congressman John Dingell is in the news again due to a comment made by the President. The following is from March, 24, 2008. 

​Recently Congressman John Dingell (D-MI) has proposed adding an additional 50-cent per gallon tax on gasoline in an effort to cut down on consumption.  I find this very interesting.  Could it be that Mr. Dingell as finally learned that an increase in taxes reduces economic activity? 
 
Maybe with this new knowledge he will realize that taxing tobacco products will not fund new health care programs.  In fact according to his own logic it will cut down on consumption and reduce funding to the program.  Will he and his fellow members of Congress realize that by ending the Bush tax cuts (that Sen. McCain voted against) they are actually increasing our taxes?  By doing this, taking more of our money, it will cut down on our consumption and slow down the economy.
 
Perhaps we should lobby for a tax on all legislation passed by Congress, to be paid by the Congress.  In doing so we might slow down some of the nonsense that flows from Washington.

Banana Republic

My Fellow Americans,

In 1776 our Founding Fathers issued a Declaration of Indepence, freeing us from a tyrannical king and government. Today that battle continues, only our fight is with the enemy within. The Democratic Party and it's socialist base is chipping away at the foundations of our Nation

Other than the 3rd, 7th, 9th, and 10th Amendments the  Democratic Party has trampled the Bill of Rights to overturn an election result they have never accepted and destroy a man and those around him.
This fake impeachment has damage our country, and is the true, "clear and present danger," to our nation. Yet, the friendly members of Club Deep State, openly break the law and suffer no consequences.

Do not think that the railroad job done to President Trump, cannot happen to you. 

The 2020 elections are not just about electing a president, they are about stopping the downward spiral of a political system, led by a party, that seeks to turn this country into a Banana Republic.

Unfortunately, my friends, that is what today's Democratic Party is trying to do.
