Why did the church surrender so easily to the forced shutdown? In a time when the Gospel message was needed desperately to give comfort and hope, it was voluntarily silenced.
This is what happens when sin enters the doors and is welcomed, not confronted. The church today, it seems, is more about filling seats and not hurting feelings. How many denominations have succumbed to today's culture, instead of warning against it? Has the kindler, gentler church impacted the United States, and the world, in a positive way?
Yes it has, if you enjoy lawlessness, chaos, and the destruction of the foundations of social norms. The speed at which we are declining is breathtaking, and if you look at the COVID era church, it should not be a surprise. The church has withdrawn from the battlefield and let the enemy take hold.
Now is the time for the small Christian resistance to join the battle, and energize the church. No one man, political party, or politician, can fix the problems we face. Only by return to Jesus Christ and the Gospel, can we win this war.
Today is the day to get right with the Lord, tomorrow may be too late. Look to the sky, get on your knees, and ask the Lord for the courage, strength, and guidance needed in this great civil war between good and evil,
